Jake Capps founded Meaningful Partners to chart a new course in direct investing as an alternative to traditional private equity. At Meaningful Partners, we believe there is both societal need and economic benefit to accelerating the success of purposeful business. We are a unique membership led community of 30+ capital and operating/discipline experts committed to purposeful investing and purposeful growth. We have particular interest in consumer facing challenger brands and companies driving positive impact. Prior to starting Meaningful Partners, Jake was a private equity investor for two decades at three multi-billion dollar PE funds (Lion Capital, Crestview Partners, Hicks, Muse, Tate & Furst) and began his career as an investment banker at Goldman, Sachs & Co. Jake is originally from Texas but now resides in Manhattan Beach, CA with his wife and three children. Jake holds a BA from Dartmouth College where he was co-captain of the Men's basketball team and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
