He served as a Fixed Income Analyst for AllState Investments—successfully managing analytics and reporting for the Fixed Income Portfolio Group.
Porter has received numerous awards throughout his distinguished career, including the Northern Trust Diversity and Inclusion Award, the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Program Award, and the Northern Trust Chairman’s Award. These awards have been given for Porter’s work reforming Northern Trust’s CRA portfolio, successfully navigating illiquidity issues, and managing the auction rate securities portfolio.
Porter is closely connected to his community, serving on the Board of the McGaw YMCA, volunteering as an AIM Mentor, and spending time as a basketball coach.
